Hello Coaches, Players, Parents, Directors, & Umps;
Thanks for playing in the 22nd Annual Scholarship Tune-Up Tourney. We hope it’s an awesome experience!
FIELD RULES & SCHEDULE INFO: Fields, Maps and other info can be found @ ipgsa.com/sites/ipgsa/locations or ipgsa.com
* Gates open 60 minutes before first games
* If you are the first team to play, please remind your players not to use the infield during warm-ups
* Please check if Dogs are allowed. Most complexes DO NOT allow for dogs. If you are at a complex that does allow dogs, aggressive and/or continuously
barking dogs will be asked to leave
*Please have your parents and players clean the stands and dug-outs after each game. Thanks
*If the fields have fences, teams are welcome to warm-up behind them. Please do not enter the field during live play
*Smoking/vaping/chewing are not allowed at any of the complexes. Please remind your fans… young lungs at work!

Please remind players to dress accordingly. It could be hot (dreaming) or cold (reality)
Please check your team’s name listed on the schedule. Spelling of team and coach correct?

This is the Tune-Up Tourney and everyone is “Tuning-Up” their skills & refreshing their minds with the rules for the 2021 Season
*Most fields WILL NOT have concessions. Brighton fields will and maybe a few others. Some will be run by teams as a fundraiser and some by the city/town
*Please visit *concessions to show our "thanks" (*very few locations)
*Please be patient with teams, players, coaches, parents and Umps
*Balls will be Provided
UMPS:
* The TUT is used to help train new umpires. We ask for patience during this training as we help prepare the next generation of umpires for CO.
GAME INFO: USSSA rules will be used with the following exception or clarifications: (Full rules will be sent with Tourney Info)
*No auto out in the batting line-up for less than 9 players
*Free Substitution for all positions
SATURDAY BRACKET GAMES: (full rules will be sent out with tourney info
*75 minutes games with fair-ups to home team (if needed)
*Saturday is Not drop-dead. If the home team is ahead or can’t catch-up, the game is over, but allow the current batter to finish.
*Pool games can end in a tie after fair ups to both teams.
*No 12, 10, 8 after 3, 4, 5 on Saturday
*6 Runs per inning for 10U and 12U Sat & Sun (Unlimited Runs for 14U, 16U and 18U Divisions.)
*Bat roster 10U, 12U & 14U (Sat only EXCEPT for 16U & 18U will not use bat roster either day but is optional)
SUNDAY BRACKET GAMES: (full rules will be sent out with tourney info)
*Higher seed is always home. If teams are the same seed, coin-flip
*75 minutes games with fair-ups to home team. Need a Winner.
*Will play; 12, 10, 8 after 3, 4, 5 on Sunday
*6 Runs per inning for 10U and 12U (Unlimited Runs for 14U, 16U and 18U Divisions.)
*10U Bat roster.
*12U, 14U, 16U & 18U (OPTIONAL: Bat Roster OR Straight 9 with a DP flex and EP)
