The Jim Martinsen Round Robin Tournament

Jim Martinsen

Free for all Recreational teams. For nearly 50 years the Round Robin has connected players from different teams to promote friendship and sportsmanship. Coaches select three players who join mixed teams to play 2–3 games in one day — no practices.

Participation is required by IPGSA By-Laws to be eligible for the EOS Tournament.

Jim Martinsen began coaching softball for Niwot Youth Sports in 1988 and served on the IPGSA Board for over 15 years, including as Treasurer. He believed any girl could play softball and be successful, and the Round Robin Tournament was his favorite part of IPGSA.

End-of-Season (EOS) Tournament
