2026 IPGSA Fall Ball

SEEDING WEEKEND - SEPT. 13

The goal of seeding weekend is so we can place teams at their optimized competitive level for regular season play. It is no fun for a team to roll through the season crushing every opponent for either side.

TEAMS WILL NOT BE MOVED MID-SEASON OR ONCE DIVSIONS ARE LOCKED!!!

Teams will be evaluated based on the following:
- Their self-declared ranking level
- Their seeding day record
- Their seeding day opponents' performances and self-declared ranking level
- Their runs allowed, and to a lesser extend, runs scored

Teams should play competitively for all 4 of their games.

The day after the seeding games are played, coaches will be sent our division breakdown:
- Elite (A level)
- Gold (B level)
- Silver (B/C level)

We will consider adjustments if coaches feel they should be placed differently but they must respond by the evening of Monday, Sept. 15.

Seeding will be locked by the evening of Monday, Sept. 15.

NOTE: We have attempted this year to eliminate match-ups where self-declared A level teams play self-declared C level teams in seeding games.

WHERE'S WEEKS 2 - 5?

IPGSA Fall Ball is comprised of 244 teams across 21 divisions.
We play around 240 games each weekend at as many as 20 different complexes/cities.

Each season, our opening weekend sees our 12U Comp and 14U Comp teams play 4 seeding games to get placed into their best Fall Ball division levels. Until these games are played, and those teams are placed, we cannot create and schedule approximately half the teams in Fall Ball past Week 1.

After the first weekend is complete, we rush to build the around 450 games for those newly formed 12U Comp and 14U Comp divisions.

While we do have full schedule match-ups complete for the 8U, 10U Rec, 12U Rec, 14U Rec, 10U Comp, and the High School divisions, we are unable to commit to times and locations for those games until those 12U Comp and 14U Comp games are formed and we see how best to utilize and optimize our field usage and assign our umpires.

Week 2-5 game schedules will be released by Wednesday, Sept. 16 after the first weekend's games are complete.
