The Round Robin Tournament is a long-standing IPGSA tradition — nearly 50 years of bringing players together from across the league to promote friendship, fun, and sportsmanship. Each coach selects three players who are placed on mixed teams. These teams play 2–3 games in one day with no practices. Round Robin coaches and their daughters are placed together.
Rosters & Schedules: Distributed to coaches and selected players before the event.
EOS Eligibility: Participation in the Round Robin is required for teams wishing to qualify for the EOS Tournament per IPGSA By-Laws (Rule 68).

All participants wear their regular season uniforms. Visors and ribbons will be provided.
Any IPGSA Rec player may enter the annual Round Robin Shirt Contest. The winning artist receives a $50 prize and the design is printed on approximately 125 shirts.

Jim Martinsen was a beloved coach, volunteer, and long-time IPGSA Board member. He believed that any girl could play softball and succeed, and he dedicated decades of volunteer work to building programs, coaching teams, and supporting youth sports throughout the region. The Round Robin Tournament was his favorite event, celebrating friendship, teamwork, and joy.
Jim served as Treasurer of IPGSA for over 15 years, coached Niwot Youth Sports beginning in 1988, and contributed extensively to the communities where he lived. His impact continues to be felt across the league today.
